My honey has crystallised, is this normal?Yes, it is perfectly normal for honey to crystallise over time, and it is a natural process that occurs in pure, raw honey. Crystallisation happens because honey contains natural sugars (mainly glucose and fructose), and over time, glucose tends to separate and form crystals. This does not affect the quality, taste, of the honey. In fact, it's a sign that your honey is pure and unprocessed. If your honey has crystallised, we recommended putting the jar in a bowl of gentle warm water. Do not put it in the microwave as this will destroy the enzymes and nutrients within the honey!

According to our provisions, we give a 'best before ' date of at least 2 years once purchased. Although we think you'll have finished your honey long before then :)
